Our Valpolicella Classica

THE VALLEY OF THE COALI

Nine hectares of vineyards in Valpolicella Classica, well exposed to the south and entirely hillside, between 250 and 400 meters above sea level. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Garda, a truly stunning sight. From the slopes of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron, the view descends toward the valley of the Coali. Here, conditions favor the ideal ripening for our Amarone and the region's red wines.

Every vineyard has a story

Il Carlin

Its name is lost to memory. It is the only vineyard set apart from the main nine-hectare block, enjoying a privileged position: greater altitude and southwest exposure, with a view of the Lake. It benefits from a mild climate and characteristics that give the wines a rounded, balanced and elegant personality.

I Pipioni

The "I Pipioni" vineyard stands out for its clay soil, shaped by the retreat of the glacier from Lake Garda, which left deposits of particular geological interest in the subsoil. These distinctive characteristics give rise to fragrant, enveloping wines, an expression of an extraordinary terroir.

I Simieri

Sant'Ambrogio holds a unique geological heritage: "i Simieri," with its three-part limestone soil. This formation, shaped over millennia, gives rise to an exceptional wine that takes its name from its native land. A special terroir reflected in every glass.

Il Bigio

"Il Bigio," with its limestone soil, gives the wine intense mineral notes and a vibrant freshness. Here, the limestone rock lends a more vertical and pure character than in other areas. A vineyard where minerality takes center stage.

The Origin

A name you won't find in any dictionary

"Coali" is not a word in the dictionary: in the local dialect it means den, a sheltered and protected place. It is the name of the hamlet embraced by the hills of Sant'Ambrogio and by the Romanesque parish church of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron, at the gateway to Valpolicella Classica.

We chose it to anchor our identity to the land and to offer an authentic tasting experience, starting with the name itself. Our farm was officially founded in 1997, but the memory of the agricultural work runs deep in the hands of our grandparents: a family story rooted in the land and in time.

"Our strength lies in the patience that only the land can teach."
