The grape harvest is one of the most intense and precious moments of the year: among the rows of vines, teamwork, care for the vineyard and anticipation for the wine to come all come together.

For the first time, we began the grape harvest towards the end of August, considerably earlier than in previous years.
This very early start may have caught us a little unprepared, but we got off to a great start, united and determined as always.
Fortunately, the weather is helping us, although temperatures are still a little too high compared with the seasonal averages. Day after day, the team is working with energy and care, respecting the ripening times of the different native grape varieties. The legendary coffee breaks are still very much part of our days, accompanied by the traditional “torta con l’ua”, made with whole grapes, flour, yeast and sugar.
We are already setting aside the grapes destined for our Amarone 2026, as well as for our IGT “I Simieri”, which many of you have been waiting for. The vintage is looking wonderful and promising, but it will still take time before we can truly tell its story in the glass.
Every great wine begins with this first, patient work, but you already know that.

The Promise of the 2026 Vintage.
Looking ahead, the first fermenting musts are already releasing notes of crisp red fruit and sweet spices. We are confident this vintage will deliver an Amarone of great structure, yet with a contemporary drinkability and elegance.
